The Biblical Portrayal of Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church

In this 150th anniversary of the declaration by Blessed Pope Pius IX of St. Joseph as the Patron of the Universal Church, our Holy Father, Pope Francis pronounced 8 December 2020 - 8 December 2021 the ‘Year of St. Joseph.’

We’re very much looking forward to presenting a seminar on Saturday morning, October 23, from 9:00am - 1:00pm, at St. John the Apostle parish, on the Bible’s own presentation of St. Joseph, the patron of the Holy Family and of the universal Church. The format will be simple: we’ll begin the morning with Mass; talks will be presented from 9:00am - 12:00pm; followed by Q&A until 1:00pm. Morning refreshments and a light lunch will be catered.

  • “What We Learn About St. Joseph From the Old Testament” (Chad Steiner)
  • “St. Joseph: An Image of the Father” (Joshua Burks)
  • “St. Joseph: A Biblical Biography” (Vern Steiner)
