Support Emmaus

Thank you for your interest in supporting The Emmaus Institute for Biblical Studies.

This Institute exists to serve the People, Parishes, and Parochial Schools of the Diocese of Lincoln. We envision a biblically literate and passionately Catholic community, but this can be achieved only with a corresponding community of supporters willing to share their time, talent, and treasure. Please consider partnering with us in one or more of the following ways to help advance this mission.

Prayer
This is the most important thing we can ask of you. We derive tremendous strength and encouragement from those who pray for us and with us. Whether or not you are able to partner with us in other ways, please include Emmaus in your daily prayers and intentions.

If you are able to commit to praying for us daily, and/or are willing to be called upon to pray for significant needs and special intentions, please let us know at emmaus@emmausinstitute.net.

Time
One of the most precious commodities we have, and one of the greatest gifts we can give. If you feel led to assist Emmaus with various projects, events, and other needs as they arise, please send us a message at emmaus@emmausinstitute.net.

Talent
What skills has the Lord given you? Do you have talents and abilities that may assist us in our mission (e.g., graphic design, technology, social media, fundraising, event planning, finance, human resources, etc.)? If so, please reach out to us at emmaus@emmausinstitute.net.

Treasure
Of course, we cannot exist without the material support of generous benefactors. Emmaus was created as an independent, nonprofit corporation [501(c)(3) pending] in order to serve and support the diocese. We do not receive financial support from the diocese or parishes, and we offer very low tuition to ensure our classes and seminars are accessible. So we rely almost entirely on the generosity of individual donors like you. If you feel called to assist us with a financial or in-kind gift, please fill out the donation form below, or contact us at emmaus@emmausinstitute.net. Checks can also be sent to us at the address provided at the bottom of this page.

We need your friendship. We want to walk together from the fellowship of studying Scripture to the fellowship of receiving the Sacrament, just as the figures are doing in the image above. We need your prayers as we study and prepare and pray for our students and for this mission. And we need your help to make it go, by “buying in” to what we are doing here, so that we can dedicate ourselves undistractedly to walking with our students through their own development as readers and interpreters of Sacred Scripture.

No gift is too small, and we appreciate each one tremendously.

Thank you, again.

We’ll update this page from time to time with specific items or projects for which we need your specific prayer and financial support. Please be assured that whether you partner with us through prayer, time, talent, or treasure, we pray daily for you with gratitude. May God bless you abundantly.
